Most of these images were published in the “Illustrated Book of Japanese Monsters” (1972). These are some of the weirdest and most bizarre children book illustrations by Gojin Ishihara. Should children be looking at something like that. The answer is clearly NO, but it isn’t so according to Ishihara.
